Returns & Refunds Policy

At GetBathware, we are committed to providing quality products and clear policies. This policy outlines when returns, refunds, or exchanges may be available.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Change of Mind Returns

We may accept change of mind returns within 30 days of purchase, subject to the conditions below.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a change of mind return, items must:

Be unused, unopened, and uninstalled

Be in original packaging and resalable condition

Not be custom-made, made-to-order, special-order, or non-stock items

Acceptance of change of mind returns is at GetBathware’s discretion.

Fees & Costs

A restocking fee of up to 30% of the purchase price applies

Customers are responsible for all return freight costs

Original delivery charges are non-refundable

A minimum restocking fee of $40 applies to non-stock items

Refunds are processed only after returned items have been received and inspected.


Damaged or Faulty Goods

Customers must inspect all goods upon delivery.

Reporting Requirements

Damage or faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be accepted

Assessment Process

To lodge a claim, please email support@getbathware.com.au with:

Clear photographs of the item and packaging

A description of the issue

If a fault is confirmed, GetBathware will provide a repair, replacement, or refund, as required under Australian Consumer Law.


Incorrect Items Supplied

If an incorrect item is supplied:

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery

GetBathware will arrange return and replacement at no cost to you


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless required under Australian Consumer Law:

Items that have been used, installed, or where installation has been attempted

Custom-made, made-to-order, special-order, or non-stock items

Items not returned in original condition or packaging

Toilet seats

In-wall cisterns where packaging has been opened

Ceiling fans or ventilation units where packaging has been opened

Made-to-order vanities, bathroom furniture, and special colour PC items

Tiles where returned quantities fall below minimum stock holdings or are from mixed shade/batch lots


Return Authorisation Process

  1. All returns must be approved prior to return

  2. Contact support@getbathware.com.au to request authorisation

  3. Approved returns will receive return instructions

  4. Items returned without approval may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense

Return locations may vary depending on the product.


Freight, Handling & Additional Charges

Customers are responsible for all return freight unless the issue is due to GetBathware error

Pickup, redelivery, or specialised freight charges may apply

GetBathware is not responsible for items damaged or lost during return transit


Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days of inspection

Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider


Important Information

Products should be checked for suitability, dimensions, and specifications prior to purchase

Trade and commercial purchases are subject to the same policy unless otherwise agreed in writing

Policy terms may be updated without notice
